QTRAX: Beggars Group an Bord

The deal, which comes on the heels of similar licensing agreements and renewals with publishing interests and TVT Records, adds music from some legendary labels: Beggars Banquet, 4AD, XL Recordings, Rough Trade Records, Mantra Records, Mo’Wax Records, Locked On Records, Matador Records, Too Pure Records and Wiiija.
The deal is done, but there appears to be some work to be done in terms of integrating the group’s music into the service. As of midnight EST, I was not able to download songs by Beggars’ impressive roster of artists, including Adele, Basement Jaxx, Beirut, British Sea Power, Jarvis Cocker, M.I.A., Radiohead, TV On The Radio, The White Stripes, The Charlatans, Cocteau Twins, The Cult, The Fall, Gary Numan, Pixies, The Prodigy, and others.
