Was soll man sich Sonntag abends bitteschön sonst anschauen, außer einem Video von zwei Kids, verkleidet als Superman und Spiderman, die breakdancen? Gut, die Skills sind ausbaufähig und tatsächlich habe ich mich früher nur so aufgeführt, wenn mir Mutti das neue Batman-Comic nicht kaufen wollte. Aber 1.) Superman, 2.) Spidey und 3.) Herbie Hancocks „Rockit“.

Dass Marvel die japanische Spiderman-Serie aus den 60s streamt, hatte ich schonmal vor einer Weile (Link zum Stream). Ich wusste allerdings nicht, dass sie damals einen Trailer dazu geschnitten hatten. Ist hiermit nachgereicht.
Ich habe keine Ahnung, wo dieses Bild herkommt, aber hier ist ein bodypainted Spiderman, der eine Szene aus Spidey 2 nachstellt, um ein paar Enten über die Straße zu helfen und ich liebe es. Und wie ein Kommentator bei Reddit ganz korrekt singt:

Hier der Abspann des philippinischen Films „Alyas Batman en Robin“, in dem Batman und Robin mit Baseball-Caps „At The Hop“ singen, während der Joker und der Pinguin dazu tanzen. Am Schluß kommt dann noch ein zwergenwüchsiger Spiderman und ein Ballett aus Superhelden von Superman bis Wonder Woman. Ein Kommentar auf IMDB:
“Alyas Batman en Robin” is an unauthorized, Phillipino, Batman musical with cheesy results and “Batman and Robin”-esque tedium. Well, with that recipe it must be so bad that its good right?

Was für eine schöne Story für den Mittwochmorgen: An einer Sonderschule bekam ein autistischer Junge an seinem ersten Schultag Angst, auf das Fensterbrett und weigerte sich, ins Gebäude zurückzukommen. Weil er auf keinen Menschen hören wollte und die Gefahr bestand, dass er sich aus Angst hinunterstürzen könnte, alarmierte man die Feuerwehr. Der Junge weigerte sich weiterhin, ins Gebäude zurückzukommen, als seine Mutter erwähnte, dass er ein Riesenfan von Superhelden wäre. Da kam Feuerwehrmann Sonchai Yoosabai eine Idee.

Dass Obama hochoffiziell ein Geek ist, Conan- und Spidey-Comics sammelt und einen Mac benutzt, hatte ich letztes Jahr hier gebloggt. Deshalb schmeisst Marvel zur Amtseinführung von Mr.Obama die Cashcow an tut Marvel dem Spidey-Fan einen Riesengefallen und lässt ihn in Spiderman #583 auftreten.

From USA Today’s report on the issue’s story: In the story by Zeb Wells, Todd Nauck and Frank D’Armata, Spider-Man stops the Chameleon from spoiling Obama’s swearing-in. At one point, Spider-Man says he mistook Vice President-elect Joe Biden for the Vulture (a vintage Spider-Man villain).
Additionally, Quesada commented to the paper that, as he sees it, the appearance isn’t an endoresement of any kind, rather, “a tip of the hat to having a Spider-Man fan in the White House.”

Auf der Myspace-Seite der Fake-Produktionsfirma Alrugo gibt es noch die Fake-Entstehungsgeschichte des Fake-70s-Trash-Spideys, Must-Read!
In 1964 Alrugo went into production of Gatti’s Opus, Italian Spiderman. Spiderman was a heavily adapted and abridged interpretation of a novel Gatti had read during a summer in Moldova entitled ‘Death Wears a Hat’. When applying for the option, however the Author felt Italian Spiderman held such little resemblance to his work that payment was not necessary and felt that his name should be distanced as far a s possible form the production. After three years of turbulent production and about 15 million dollars later (a sum unheard of for any production of the time) Italian Spiderman was finally completed in 1968.
Even though Alrugo had survived the epic production period, a venture that Gatti described as “Opening the gates of hell”* the company was in debt. There was no money left to distribute the picture, Alfonso pulled every last favour he had during the production process. In a desperate attempt to show Italian Spiderman to the world, Alfonso sent the only existing print across the atlantic on a cargo ship to a distributer friend of his in New York, the ship however, never reached it’s destination. in the summer of 1969, Alfonso Alrugo closed the gates to Alrugo Entertainment and donned his orange picking glove once more. Gianfranco Gatti went on to direct hard core pornography and Franco Francheti died in a spear fishing accident.
The Library of Congress had just acquired the original 1962 drawings from Stan Lee and Steve Ditko’s “Amazing Fantasy #15″ – complete with Ditko’s pencil erasures and white-out opaquing fluid – in which Spider-Man made its first appearance in print!

Wenn Spiderman grade nicht für irgendwelche Comics vor der Kamera steht, muss er sich mit Nebenjobs als Fensterputzer über Wasser halten, weil das Modeln als Wandkrabbler wird ja heute auch nicht mehr so gut bezahl wie früher. Dulce Pinzon hat daraus eine Fotoserie gestrickt mit Batman als Chauffeur, Superman als Pizzaboy und dem Flash als Marathonläufer.
Tatsächlich ist dies aber eine Hommage, an die mexikanischen Immigranten in Amerika, die Geld nach Hause schicken, wodurch mittlerweile eine gegenseitige Abhängigkeit entstanden ist:

Das Star Wars Holiday Special ist Teil des großen Kanons. Irgendwie. Auch wenn wir nicht darüber reden. Das ist ein wenig wie mit dem missgestalteten Cousin, den man in Ketten liegend in einem dunklen, abgesperrten Raum im Keller hält. Sicher, er hat seit zwanzig Jahren das Tageslicht nicht gesehen und ist gezwungen sich von Ratten, toten Katzen und Hobos zu ernähren… aber irgendwie ist er doch Teil der Familie. Auch wenn man ihn lieber totschweigen würde. Und als alter Star-Wars-Nerd ist es damit absolut legitim das Special so zu behandeln, wie ich auch jeden regulären Film behandelt hätte. Nicht dass mich das Fehlen dieser Legitimation daran gehindert hätte. Aber das ist wie mit geplanten Kriegen und der Legitimation durch den Weltsicherheitsrat. Klar, man braucht die Zustimmung der Veto-Mächte eigentlich nicht. Aber es ist trotzdem irgendwie nett, wenn man sie hat.

The Greenland ice cap is melting so quickly that it is triggering earthquakes as pieces of ice several cubic kilometres in size break off. Scientists monitoring events this summer say the acceleration could be catastrophic in terms of sea-level rise and make predictions this February by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change far too low. The glacier at Ilulissat, which supposedly spawned the iceberg that sank the Titantic, is now flowing three times faster into the sea than it was 10 years ago.

Die erflunkerte wie die wahre Geschichte haben eins gemeinsam: Sie berichten vom Kontakt eines Autors mit einem Problemleser.

1.) Bedingungsloses Grundeinkommen
Ja, logisch. Einfach weil der produktive Fortschritt mittlerweile die Entkopplung von selbstgewählter Tätigkeit und schiererer Existenzsicherung nicht nur erlaubt, sondern als zivilisatorischen Standard gebietet. In dem Moment aber, wo man diese Minimalforderung “negative Einkommensteuer” nennt, bekommt sie etwas pragmatisches und verliert ihren heilsbringerischen Gestus, als sei sie die letztgültige Antwort auf alle Fragen. Vor allem darf man sich nicht von dem Budenzauber blenden lassen, den philantrope Unternehmer zum Thema abfackeln, um sich von jeglicher Steuerlast zu befreien. Die Refinanzierung darf nicht über die Konsumsteuer passieren, da das wiederum die kleinen Einkommen ohne Sparneigung am härtesten trifft. Die Möglichkeit der Umverteilung muss erhalten bleiben, sprich: die Progression der Einkommensteuer – es gibt keinen Grund, das Grundeinkommen an irgendeine Flat tax zu koppeln. Vielmehr müsste man darüber nachdenken, wie man die Besteuerungsbasis verbreitert, also alle Einkommensarten, auch Mieten und Kapitaleinkommen gleichmässig heranzieht.
DC Comics stinken gegen Marvel schon immer sowas von ab. DC hat nur eine Figur, die dem Marvel Universum irgendetwas entgegensetzen kann: Batman.
