Darin macht sich Autor Nevin Martell auf die Suche nach Bill Watterson und seinen Einflüssen, der 1995 völlig überraschend Calvin und Hobbes einstellte und heute zurückgezogen in Utah lebt. Ne mal im Ernst, ich finds echt total Schade! Eine der besten Comics die ich kenne… Fast do gut wie Carl Barks :P
Danke René, ich hab mir zwar nicht das Buch vorbestellt, aber dafür “The Essential of C & H” um mal einen Einstieg zu fassen. Die Gesamtausgabe kostet zwar nur noch 80€, aber ich hab immer so ein schlechtes Gewissen, als Student so viel Geld für Comics auszugeben. Und unhandlich ist es wohl auch etwas ;)
Und ich liebe Calvin & Jobs. Das ist göttlich. Da hätte ich mir noch einige Strips mehr gewünscht von MAD.
die gesamtausgabe lohnt sich total. da steht auch ziemlich viel über die geschichte der entstehung drin, in bill wattersons eigenen worten.
