Eine handvoll frischer Trailer zum Berlinale-Gewinner Fire at Sea, zur Literatur-Verfilmung The Fundamentals of Caring, dem zweiten Clip zur Mucker-Serie Roadies und zu den Pulp-Actionern Carnage Park und Gridlocked.
Gianfranco Rosi's Berlin Golden Bear winning documentary follows a 12-year-old boy living on the Lampedusa island in the middle of the sea.
Samuele goes to school, loves shooting his slingshot and going hunting. He likes land games, even though everything around him speaks of the sea and the men, women and children who try to cross it to get to his island. But his is not an island like the others, its name is Lampedusa and it is the most symbolic border of Europe, crossed by thousands of migrants in the last 20 years in search of freedom.
- Hmmm: Tom Hiddleston Confirmed To Be In Talks For BOND 25.
- Hmmmm: Next James Bond will not be who you expect, Sam Mendes says: „Outgoing director’s remarks suggest Tom Hiddleston not a shoo-in for the part of 007“
- ITS HAPPENING! „Yes, the rumors were true: The Rock will play Doc Savage for writer/director Shane Black. The news is exciting in and of itself, but there's plenty more to love about this post, starting with how excited The Rock is to be playing the character, who he's describing as Superman by way of 'A F*CKING HILARIOUS WEIRDO'. “
The Fundamentals of Caring follows Ben, a retired writer who becomes a caregiver after suffering a personal tragedy. After 6 weeks of training, Ben meets his first client, Trevor, a foul-mouthed 18-year-old with muscular dystrophy. One paralyzed emotionally, one paralyzed physically, Ben and Trevor take an impromptu road trip to all the places Trevor has become obsessed with while watching the local news, including their holy grail: the World's Deepest Pit. Along the way, they pick up a sassy runaway and a mother-to-be who help test the pair’s survival skills outside of their calculated existence as they come to understand the importance of hope and true friendship.
This pure-pulp thrill ride jumps between past and present as it pieces together the puzzle of a shocking crime. It's 1978 and a bank robbery gone wrong leaves Vivian (The Last Exorcism's Ashley Bell) the hostage of two criminals on the run. But things go from bad to off-the-rails berserk when she and her captors wind up on the sun-baked desert outpost of a deranged ex-military sniper (Pat Healy), who ensnares them in his deadly game of cat and mouse. Rising horror auteur Mickey Keating (Pod, Darling) directs this gritty, grisly homage to the glory days of grindhouse cinema.
Former SWAT leader David Hendrix and hard-partying movie star Brody Walker must cut their ride-along short when a police training facility is attacked by a team of mercenaries.
Roadies gives an insider’s look at the reckless, romantic, funny and often poignant lives of a committed group of “roadies” who live for music and the de facto family they’ve formed along the way. The music-infused ensemble comedy series chronicles the rock world through the eyes of music’s unsung heroes and puts the spotlight on the backstage workers who put the show on the road while touring the United States for a successful arena-level band.
