Neue Trailer zu Fatih Akins Verfilmung von Wolfgang Herrndorfs „Tschick“, dem Flüchtlings-Drama „Dheepan“, einem neuen „Daredevil“-Trailer mit ganz viel Elektra, der neuen FX-Serie „Taboo“ mit Tom Hardy, dem eher gewöhnlich-aber-nett aussehenden Actioner „Precious Cargo“, dem Mystery-Detective-Dings „Too Late“, dem Horrorflick „The Evil in us“, dem japanischen Horror-Mashup „The Ring vs The Grudge“ und einem, äh, Werfrosch-Film namens „Bad Blood“. (Favs: Tschick, Dheepan, Too Late, Bad Blood)

Tschick

Dheepan

From acclaimed director Jacques Audiard (A Prophet, Rust and Bone) comes the powerful story of Dheepan, a Sri Lankan Tamil warrior who is forced to flee to France to escape the civil war, posing as a family with a woman and young girl he has never previously met.
Finding work as a caretaker of a housing block in the suburbs of Paris, Dheepan works to build a new life and home for his ‘wife’ and ‘daughter’, but the daily violence he confronts quickly reopens the violence from his past, and he is left fighting for their livelihood, and eventually their lives.

Daredevil

Taboo

Set in 1814, Taboo follows James Keziah Delaney, a man who has been to the ends of the earth and comes back irrevocably changed. Believed to be long dead, he returns home to London from Africa to inherit what is left of his father's shipping empire and rebuild a life for himself. But his father's legacy is a poisoned chalice, and with enemies lurking in every dark corner, James must navigate increasingly complex territories to avoid his own death sentence. Encircled by conspiracy, murder, and betrayal, a dark family mystery unfolds in a combustible tale of love and treachery.

Precious Cargo

After a botched heist, Eddie (Bruce Willis), a murderous crime boss, hunts down the seductive thief Karen (Claire Forlani) who failed him. In order to win back Eddie’s trust, Karen recruits her ex-lover and premier thief Jack (Mark-Paul Gosselaar) to steal a cargo of rare precious gems. But when the job goes down, allegiances are betrayed and lines are crossed as Jack, Karen, and Eddie face off in a fateful showdown.

Too Late

Private investigator Mel Sampson (Academy Award nominee John Hawkes) is tasked with tracking down the whereabouts of a missing woman from his own past. With this familiar setup, TOO LATE takes the spine of the classic private eye genre and tears it to pieces, weaving it back together into a tapestry of southern California and the menagerie of eccentric personalities and lost souls who inhabit it. From the desolate, overgrown Radio Hill to the ritzy penthouse of The Beverly Hilton, the film presents a sprawling view of Los Angeles that ranges from the undiscovered to the iconic.

The Evil in us

When six friends venture to a remote island on the 4th of July, the good times quickly turn into a nightmare when they encounter an unimaginable evil.

The Ring vs The Grudge

What would happen if someone were to watch the cursed video tape from The Ring inside the house from The Grudge? That's the core premise of Sadako vs Kayako, the upcoming Japanese horror film that pits the iconic cursed villains from the films that defined the genre against one another for a dose of hair-ghost vs hair-ghost lunacy with little Toshio off to the side chuckling evilly. Bad Blood

After a horrific amphibian attack leaves college student Victoria Miller (Mary Malloy) infected with a mutational disease, she returns home where the antidote to her affliction is mistaken for drugs by her evil stepfather. Locked in her room without her medicine, she transforms into a hideous monster to give everyone a taste of their own, while an obsessive private investigator uncovers the dark truth about her condition.
