Trailerfest: Evil Dead, Cop Car, American Ultra, Stung, Howl, Tiger House, Let us prey

Trailerfest, Trailerfest!

Jedenfalls:

Evil Dead (Series)

Cop Car

A pair of ten-year-olds find an abandoned cop car in a field. When they take it for a joyride, it seems like they could kill themselves at any moment. But things only get worse when the small town sheriff goes looking for his missing car. The kids find themselves in the center of a deadly game of cat and mouse they don't understand and the only way out is to go as fast as their cop car can take them.

American Ultra

A stoner and his girlfriend's sleepy, small-town existence is disrupted when his past comes back to haunt him in the form of a government operation set to wipe him out.

Pawn Sacrifize

In a gripping true story set during the height of the Cold War, American chess prodigy Bobby Fischer (Tobey Maguire) finds himself caught between two superpowers when he challenges the Soviet Empire. Also starring Liev Schreiber and Peter Sarsgaard, Pawn Sacrifice chronicles Fischer's terrifying struggles with genius and madness, and the rise and fall of a kid from Brooklyn who captured the imagination of the world.

Howl

Joe, a young ticket-collector, is riding the last train out of London on a dark and stormy night along with a meager bunch of passengers. When the train brakes violently and comes to a sudden halt deep in the middle of a forest, it seems they have hit something on the line. But when the driver ventures out to investigate he never returns, leaving the passengers in a state of panic – particularly when Joe sees the driver’s mutilated body outside the carriage.

Realising there’s something dangerous lurking in the forest, Joe tells the passengers to make barricades to secure themselves in the carriage but soon the deadly creature is stalking the besieged train and smashing through their defences, picking them off one-by-one. Joe rallies his ‘pack’ of passengers to fight back. During a vicious battle they manage to kill the creature, revealing it to be a hideous mutated fusion of human and wild animal – a werewolf. However, celebrations are cut short when they hear more howls coming from the forest…

Stung

Mrs. Perch, an elderly, wealthy lady from rural America, is throwing a fancy garden party at her remote country villa. Same procedure as every year - except this time her illegally imported plant fertilizer seeps into the ground. Subsequently, a local species of killer wasps that usually lay their eggs into other insects mutates into 7 ft tall predators. And the celebrating upper class company provides just the right kind of prey.

It's up to Paul and Julia, the two catering staffers, to stop the creatures, fight for their lives, and incidentally getting their stumbling romance in order.

The Man in the Shadows

Based on thousands of true stories, a newlywed photographer is stalked by a dark man in a brimmed hat who followers her from her nightmares and into reality. Her life in shambles and sanity slipping, she meets a mysterious man claiming to know the shocking secrets of the Hat Man.

Let us prey

On her first night at a backwater precinct, rookie cop Rachel (Pollyanna McIntosh, The Woman) finds herself surrounded by violent officers and criminals. Her job becomes all the more terrifying when a mysterious man (Liam Cunningham, Game of Thrones) is brought in and strange things begin occurring. Soon it becomes clear that the stranger has something to do with the supernatural events, and Rachel must fight for her life against cop and crook alike as they turn on each other and themselves. Now she has to survive the night and uncover the stranger’s true plans before she too falls prey to the unholy power that seeks to destroy them all.

Tiger House

One fateful night, troubled teenager Kelly sneaks into her boyfriend Mark’s house to deliver some sobering news: She’s pregnant.

But tonight, she is not the only unwelcome visitor: An armed gang breaks in. Mark's father Doug manages a bank and the gang plan on using Doug's help to carry out a daring heist using his captive family as leverage.

Their plan quickly unravels when during the ensuing struggle, the gang's leader Shane gets injured and is left on Mark's bed fading in and out of consciousness. Unbeknownst to the intruders, a terrified and vulnerable Kelly is only inches away under the very same bed. From her cramped hiding position, Kelly overhears everything and now knows too much, putting her life in terrible danger.

Now, Kelly must draw on all her reserves of strength and her skills of dexterity, to escape. As the situation spirals out of control, the suburban house becomes a terrifying arena for violence. Faced with no alternative, she must turn and fight back.
