Experimental Napalm Death Gig cancelled because METAL!

Weil METAL \m/!

The Victoria & Albert Museum yesterday cancelled an experimental concert by British "grindcore" quartet Napalm Death which was due to take place there this Friday. The free gig was to be a collaboration with the V&A's ceramic artist in residence, Keith Harrison, and the band were to play through a clay PA system, which would eventually "explode" due to the noise.

But […] the museum released a statement blaming the band's extremely loud metal music for the cancellation, amid fears that the vibrations could damage priceless artefacts and dismount other exhibits from walls and ceilings.
