Weezer Announce Release Date for New Album
Mark your calendars, boys and girls. The new Weezer album, which the boys are affectionately referring to as "Album Six" for the moment, has a release date. I bet you want to know what that release date is, don't you? Here, just have it: April 22, 2008. Hey, that's Jack Nicholson's birthday! Coincidence?? Er, probably.

Bloc Party singen deutsch

Movies

The War, A Short Film by Shilo
“The War” is the latest in our roster of experimental work. A short film inspired and backed by the Angels & Airwaves song of the same name, this piece is an example of what we like to call design-infused storytelling. We teamed up with Tom Delonge, perhaps best-known as the lead vocalist/guitarist of Blink 182, as he was conceiving and writing the songs for Angels & Airwaves first album “We Don’t Need to Whisper.” We wrote and directed the short film as a reflection of the song “The War”, and during its inception we had the opportunity to collaborate with Tom very closely. Through intimate conversations and free associations we were creating concepts and designs as he was making the music itself.

Jim Henson’s “Time Piece,” 1965
Dislocation in time, time signatures, time as a philosophical concept, and slavery to time are some of the themes touched upon in this nine-minute, experimental film, which was written, directed, and produced by Jim Henson-and starred Jim Henson! Screened for the first time at the Museum of Modern Art in May of 1965, Time Piece enjoyed an eighteen-month run at one Manhattan movie theater and was nominated for an Academy Award for outstanding short subject

Storys

192021
19.20.21 (19 cities in the world with 20 million people in the 21st century) is a nice site for an effort to undertake "a five-year study that will encompass all aspects of the phenomenon of supercities" but the real attraction are the maps of the world's largest cities through time (Menu/10 Largest Cities). In 1000, the largest city in the world was Cordova, Spain and by 1500, 4 of the top 10 were in China and one was in Nepal.

Lesbian Alien Sex Scene from Mass Effect Game
Though it's "tasteful" to an almost comedic degree, this lesbian alien love scene from the upcoming Xbox 360 game Mass Effect—first in a planned trilogy from Bioware, who brought you many fantastic RPGs in the past, including Knights of the Old Republic—is sure to be a million unit seller by dint of this scene alone. The Nerd Handbook
Nerds are fucking funny. Your nerd spent a lot of his younger life being an outcast because of his strange affinity with the computer. This created a basic bitterness in his psyche that is the foundation for his humor. Now, combine this basic distrust of everything with your nerd’s other natural talents and you’ll realize that he sees humor is another game.
Humor is an intellectual puzzle, “How can this particular set of esoteric trivia be constructed to maximize hilarity as quickly as possible?” Your nerd listens hard to recognize humor potential and when he hears it, he furiously scours his mind to find relevant content from his experience so he can get the funny out as quickly as possible.

Creation Museum Report
First, imagine, if you will, a load of horseshit. And we’re not talking just your average load of horseshit; no, we’re talking colossal load of horsehit. An epic load of horseshit. The kind of load of horseshit that has accreted over decades and has developed its own sort of ecosystem, from the flyblown chunks at the perimeter, down into the heated and decomposing center, generating explosive levels of methane as bacteria feast merrily on vintage, liquified crap. This is a Herculean load of horseshit, friends, the likes of which has not been seen since the days of Augeas.

Space Aquarium
I think something's a little bit fishy here, oh wait, that's actually true! Yes, the Betta aquarium allows your favourite swimmers to blissfully roam amongst the glow in the dark stars and planets that adorn its home. It's a good thing fish only have a 3 second memory or they might get a little disturbed by the plethora of unnecessary alien like tat. It features a 'fun' UFO cap that beams lights into the aquarium so you can watch your fish blink again.. and again as they swim aimlessly around.
